LOVO – Production Supervisor

Lovo, formerly Groupe Nutri, has been owned by farming families since 1987 and is now one of the largest egg graders, processors, and distributors in Canada.

Your main responsibilities :

• Coordinate, schedule, and supervise production teams operating processing and packaging equipment;
• Ensure production plans are executed efficiently while meeting volume, quality, and downtime targets;
• Perform first-level troubleshooting and collaborate with maintenance to resolve issues quickly;
• Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with food safety and regulatory standards (HACCP, GMP, SQF/BRC, CFIA, OHS);
• Monitor sanitation, allergen controls, and production conditions to maintain quality standards;
• Lead incident reporting, investigations, and corrective actions to prevent recurrence;
• Support and maintain cleaning programs and hygienic production environments;
• Train, coach, and support employee development, onboarding, and performance management;
• Develop and maintain SOPs, work instructions, and ensure procedures are followed and up to date;
• Foster a positive, accountable, and safety-first work environment;
• Track KPIs, prepare production reports, and manage timecards and payroll entries;
• Communicate priorities, issues, and expectations clearly across teams and shifts.

Desired profile :

• Experience in a leadership or supervisory role in food manufacturing or a similar production environment;
• Post-secondary education is an asset or equivalent experience;
• Experience with health and safety practices, incident investigations, and corrective actions;
• HACCP certification or willingness to obtain;
• Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills;
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment;
• Experience with timecard review, payroll systems such as Kronos, and timekeeping administration;
• Working knowledge of ERP or production systems such as SAP (asset);
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and standard office tools;
• Practical understanding of production equipment and process flow for troubleshooting;
• Strong safety mindset with the ability to lead investigations and drive corrective actions.
